Who We Are
Business statistics show that poor financial management is a primary reason 50% of small businesses fail within the first five years. I believe that can change, and I want to help your business be successful.
Hello, my name is Juli McClure. I am the owner of Momenti Strategy. Our core focus is to use data and processes to support small business success. For more than a decade, I have been helping individuals and small businesses in the Wichita area plan to succeed by identifying personal and professional goals and using their own data and behavior to achieve them. My education and background in finance, management, economics and marketing give me a unique lens to support ambitious, determined, seasoned business owners who excel in their industry or field but need a financial eye or mindset to look at the dollars and cents of their hard work to gain efficiencies and move themselves to the next level.
Do you want to use your own capital instead of a loan to invest in your company? Do you want to retire debt free and make a profit off the sale of your business? Are you interested in strategizing a 12-month, 5-year, or 10-year growth plan?

Our Story
As a child growing up in a household of 7 with a self-employed, contractor father and working mother, my experience with debt was impactful. My relationship to money was distorted and scarcity was a mentality that started early on. Some limiting beliefs I had to reprogram over the years were – debt is inevitable, saving is hard, I will have to work forever if I want nice things, and money determines what I can do.
I have a strong appetite for learning
When I was in college, I found that there were several topics that drew me in: accounting, economics, finance, management, and marketing. Even while working full-time, and sometimes multiple jobs, upon graduating, I had amassed a decent amount of debt of my own charging credit cards, taking on student loans, getting my first car loan and taking on home ownership with my husband. We had two kids with one on the way when I finished my MBA, which was fortunately covered by my then-employer. All the time, we worked on implementing strategies that I had learned in classes (ie. Budgeting, saving, investing, etc) and continued to pick up in my own research, but the debt still held us back from making BIG goals for ourselves and our family. Once we had our fourth child on the way, my husband and I took the steps we needed to get out of debt. I think we were both skeptical, but the thought of that reality was enough to get us to focus on the activities required. With teamwork, patience, and the knowledge we had collected, we were completely debt-free in less than eight years’ time. Momentum was building.
Over the course of those eight years, I grew more and more excited about our future and all the potential that would come from the years of learning. My husband co-founded a self-funded business, we had our fifth child, I changed companies and our oldest graduated high school. We were saving for our retirement, our children’s education, improvements to our home, saving for vacations, and managing a budget to support a full household. We were making goals and making things happen. The momentum continued.
This experience shifted my mindset
Debt is not required and can be used as a tool, saving isn’t that hard, money is a resource, and we determine how to use it. This gave me a sense of freedom and relief from the beliefs that had held us back. I wanted to make sure my kids and everyone else for that matter could have that freedom and relief. It started with our kids – we got them set up with budgets of their own. The concepts continue to take hold, but our children are light years ahead of where I was growing up. I stepped out of my comfort zone and began offering to help my sisters, nieces and nephews. In getting a current assessment and building out a plan, everyone that has worked with me has been able to see the potential they have for a debt-free future and to meet the goals they each have.
In 2022, I pivoted from a corporate career to join a small business as president, with the goal of driving growth and a potential ownership transition. Despite initial reservations about small business ownership, I was energized by the work. Upon discovering significant financial mismanagement, I took on the challenge of a full-scale financial and operational overhaul.
Over the course of two and a half years, I successfully:
- Recovered over $100K in past-due receivables.
- Reduced and combined business and stakeholder debt from over $750K to less than $230K.
- Brought accounts payable to current.
- Revamped the company website, updated pricing, and expanded service offerings.
- Hired three new contractors and increased the client base.
My work not only stabilized the company but also put it on a path toward sustainable profitability.
The momentum continues
Today, Momenti Strategy is here to help small businesses and individuals build their own momentum. Let’s work together to understand today and build the tomorrow you envision.
